I call this one the Mary Jane, because she's made of sweet, old fashioned granny squares, but looks like she'd rather be up in the clouds. Made with our Victorian floral scissors, color silver. These scissors are a little bigger than the unicorn and heart scissors, and feel durable and substantial. The blade size is about the same, approximately 1", very sharp and pointy.
This one started with the same granny square beanie pattern as sunflower beanie no. 1 but has mixed textures and yarns sizes.
While testing my new "i heart scissors" scissors I started making a granny square and ended up making this sunflower beanie. At first I thought the scissors weren't great for yarn, because I had some difficulty cutting through the yarn. Then I figured out the angle that's best used for yarn and found the scissors to be sharp and precise. They are very pointy too, compared to some of my other scissors, which was great for "tucking in" some loose fibers.
